Natural resources

One of the oldest properties of Kumarkhali upazila is sand. Many people of the Padma and Gorai rivers flutter in the habitat, they earn their living by extracting sand. There are many sand mallals. The soil analysis here shows that sand is thin and thickly mixed with sediment, mud, gravel and crab mixed soil. The soil nature of these upazilas is very fertile and crop-useful in the past.
